the story.

My grandpa bought this car from a doctor who hardly ever drove it.  In fact he babied the car the entire time he had it.  My grandpa then drove it all over the country pretty much.  He travelled with my grandma to visit relatives in Texas and he used it for work as well.  I always loved this car, i remember the first time i drove it i was amazed.  Then i graduated college and i was still driving my dad's (sorta mine) Jeep Cherokee.  I knew i needed my own car and i love jeeps, but i just thought maybe i need a car.  So I asked my grandparents if i could buy it from them and they agreed.

The day i got the car the exhaust broke on me.  The thing was loud!! My b-pipe broke in half at the curve.  It might have lasted, but im sure a long time ago what was holding it in place under the car, broke.  And all the vibration jared it loose finally causing it to snap.  Now i needed to drive the car home 3 hours.  It was a sunday, so the only thing my dad and i could think of was to wrap it in exhaust tape and clamp a tin can around it for the time being.  So my first thing needed was an exhuast system.  This was just before i found maxima.org.  When i found this site, i was so excited.  I found a group deal on my exhuast system and i got it really cheap.  I bought the same muffler they were offereing off of ebay for 80 bucks cheaper than warpspeed and it was new in the box.  Now i had a nice loud sounding exhuast, but now what.
So i tried to find an fstb somewhere, and this guy was selling his on ebay and i got it used (no scratches)

Now it sounds loud, but it seemed a bit too loud.  Yep, you guessed it I had an exhuast leak....the manifold studs on the VG engine are prone to break due to high heat temperatures.  I had 4 total broken studs.  Now that that is fixed im feeling more power and not embarrased to drive around with a clickity sounding car.

I couldnt stand not having good music in the car, the bose amps seemed to want to have a mind of their own.  They never worked real good anymore, but when they did, they were awesome.  So i put in some Polk speakers 4x6's in the front with speaker pods from a non-bose maxima.  And i just put some 6x9's in the back.  My headunit is an AIWA mp3/cd player.  Its nice, but i really want bass, so that will come soon, nothing too crazy.

Then i just drove the thing alot after that, and i was an idiot and got in an accident, a girl and i were both turning left onto a main road across from each other.  She went and i didnt know it, and i tried my hardest to not hit her, but I couldnt stop the 3300 lb 4DSC.  Next my car was in another accident and swiped a tree.  It should all be fixed here soon(late January).

The next things i have in mind for the car are some new springs/struts.  Im planning on going with Intrax springs for a 1.7inch drop and Tokico struts.  Then i plan on getting some Rims, can't decide what yet, but i would love to put some G35 coupe rims on.  I plan on finishing up my E-36 headlight conversion by flush mounting them.  Im gonna get a midpipe for my intake to help it breathe and then it will be time to paint it pitch black.  Farther on down the road i want to get a whole stillen body kit and some blehmco suspension products.
  Thanks for visiting.
